Our Adult First Aid, CPR, & AED training courses provide a comprehensive guide to caring for a victim in, and out of the workplace. Our courses are tailor made for onsite Emergency Response Teams and people that need to know what to do at a moments notice.

Courses include

  • 8-hours of instruction for full Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED courses

  • 2-hours of instruction for Adult CPR & AED only

  • A National Safety Council certification and guidebook for reference.

  • When renting an AED through Merrill Health and Safety, a trainer version of your actual AED is used so your team has real, hands on knowledge of their available equipment.

  • On-site training with a certified NSC Instructor.

Course Information for Companies and Individuals

  • Our 8-hour course has a minimum class size of 8, and a maximum of 20 to ensure a proper Trainer to Trainee ratio.

    Full, 8-hour courses cover the following topics:

    • Acting in an Emergency

    • Preventing Disease Transmission

    • Check the Victim

    • Recovery Position

    • Bleeding and Wound Care

    • Shock

    • Burns

    • Bone, Joint, and Muscle Injuries

    • Sudden Illness

    • Poisioning and Allergic Reactions

    • Cold and Heat Emergencies

    • Rescuing and Moving Victims

    • CPR & AED

    • Choking

    • Head and Spine Injuries

    Additional topics may be added by request.

  • Get this course for free! When you rent an AED through Merrill, our 2-hour course is included annually. Each AED rented includes 1 free trainee.

    Our 2-hour CPR & AED Course includes the following topics:

    • The Cardiac Chain of Survival

    • Adult CPR

    • Adult AED use

    • 2-Person CPR and AED

    • CPR with Opioid-Associated Life-Threatening Emergency

    • Recovery Position

    Additional topics may be added upon request. Course sizes are limited to 20 to ensure an effective trainer to trainee ratio.

  • Courses are held onsite, at customer facilities and content will be tailored to fit customer sites to best suit the needs of employees. We do not offer online courses in order to ensure training is as effective as possible.

  • Course sizes are limited to 20 people in a single session. Cancellations may be made up to 1 week in advance with a full refund. Students may be replaced up until the course begins as to ensure you are getting the most out of your training.
